Goals 2030
In this area, objectives have been set for 2030:
- Achieve a reduction of up to 50 per cent in carbon emissions associated with lithium processing compared to current industry standards;
- Ensure sustainability throughout the value chain, favouring raw materials that meet the highest ESG standards;
- Combat production waste in order to mitigate the environmental footprint;
- Achieve an annual supply of lithium hydroxide sufficient for the traction batteries of more than two million electric cars.
